i just bought a Dynomax Ultraflow X to use as the transverse muffler on my 1969 Camaro.

it is significantly thicker than the OE muffler... anyone use one in this location, and does it in fact fit between the rear axle and the gas tank???

thanks

got it for a song, at a swap meet.

i'll measure first, if it don't fit.. it will go up on ebay.

I know it's been awhile.I just bought the same muffler I believe(Dyno Max Ultra Flow Transverse)Stainless #17552.I believe it will fit just fine, but was surprised to see it "X" inside like an X pipe. Are most Transverse mufflers like that ? .Seems the gases would colide with each other on the way in,unless the gases entered from the same side, which they would not...you know what I mean,or is this ok?
