i have an early 69 camaro [ nov 68 ] with tilt wheel that had a standard wheel stock and am putting on a wood wheel. N 34.
what color is the Hub or wood wheel mount adapter? is it gloss black like the rest of the steering column? well let me ask this....is the steering column gloss black or what color of black?

also my information is that because my car is an early 69 camaro, that i would have a walnut wheel not a rosewood wheel. any thoughts on this gentlemen?

how do you clean / polish the brushed Stainless on the wood wheel?

thanks

The N34 hub should match the column. As for the column paint it was not full gloss.

The '69-style walnut N34 wheel was used until around late Nov '68. I had a 12A car with a rosewood, a bud had an 11C with a walnut. This was about 30 years ago.

Check any hardware store for stainless cleaner for use on commercial kitchen equipment. Don't use abrasives on it.

thanks william........so is the column in between a semi gloss and a gloss? thats going to be tough to match......

thats my info on the walnut wheel VS early 69 productions models too. i have seen an unrestored early 69 with a walnut wheel and rosewood trim on the dash. its always nice to see what other people have seen and have to say tho.

If the interior is black it is not too difficult. Blue or green is another story. Very tough to get an exact color match. Assuming it all matched in 1969...
