View Full Version : Water temp gauge/sender issue 14winter Jun 28th, 09, 08:42 PM Does anyone know what temp sender works with the stock gauges on my 67? It needs to be a 3/8 NPT. I put one in and the gauge is going all wonky. I have dart Pro1 heads TMessick Jun 28th, 09, 08:53 PM I'm not sure if the '67 setup is exactly the same as the 68/69 setup, but I'm betting it probably is. If so, the stock sender is a 1/2" NPT job that is "72-88 ohms @ 220 degF". When I moved to 305 H.O. heads on my 307 I took a bunch of measurements to try to come up with an equivalent 3/8" NPT sender and came up short... All my old measurements and info in this post here: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1024554#post1024554 14winter Jun 29th, 09, 06:04 AM Thank you for the info! I will be calling around today to hopefully work it out. I dont want to put any more gauges in the car. |
