I am working on my sons car 1981 Z28 Camaro. 350 engine with Turbo350 transmission. He just purchased the car with no driveshaft. I would think there is a standard length driveshaft or will I have to have one made special? From the research I have done there are 2 1 is 5.50" and the other is 5.469 or something like that. Not sure how they came up with that, but I measured the length but I think I didn't measure it correctly. I measured from the trans rear housing or seal to the inside u joint on the rear end, where the u joint sits. I measured 51 3/4 with a 27 spline trans. Any help would be great.

Thank you

Most any from a 2nd Gen F-body will work, Camaro or Firebird. Pick-Your Part good place to start.

Welcome,Donald. If you do have one built, and you ever plan to add power in the future, over-build it now. Driveshaft failures are not pretty!
