The Moser housing has much thicker bearing caps and 1/2 inch bolts, so the T/A Performance cover is not needed. The clear cover is worthless because in about 500 miles the inside of the cover will be covered with a fine film of metal sludge and you won't be able to see anything through it. Number 4 is going to be the most benefitial to you because it wil add oil capacity and help cooling. It also has a drain plug.

I like the Moser best. It is a lot like my TA performance cover. X2 on what BGH said about the clear cover.

The Moser cover and the Trick Flow cover are T/A covers. T/A makes them for other companies and puts the name on them. If you look on the inside it has T/A Performance cast into it.

If your talking for that '68 Conv. on your webstie link then I'd have to say the Eaton would be most appropriate for the look & image I see in that car. If me I wouldn't want to make too much of a statement with a differential cover and the all silver/alum/chrome covers stand out too much in my opinion for a street driven car. The Eaton has a classic yet refined look and wouldn't distract the eye too much away from the more important aspects of the steet car. That's obviously just how I see it. I actuallly created a similar look to that Eaton on my '68's 12 bolt out of a vintage piece that I painted and then sanded the top edge of the fins for a very similar look. I couldn't imagagine any other way but some people like to draw a lot of attention to the cover and that's fine too.

I think I'm going to go with what Mr. Big Head said because he know his rearends!......I think that the clear one looks ugly and useless!

That company (clear gearz) says it will be offering clear valve covers as well.

I am sure it won't be long before we see someone add led's to them as well. lol

Thanks for the feedback and for voting everyone..
I sent TA an email asking if they do custom etching.
Stop back next week and I'll keep you posted on their reply.

Bill - yes on my 'vert (it's British Racing Green and undercarriage is DP-90, frame and axle are powdercoat-99)

Doug G - nice butt! I like that TA cover... Thanks for the pic.

Drew - I would love to have clear valve covers and a clear intake.

Right now, I'm leaning towards the Trick Flow style (by TA) with black powdercoat and the top of the fins sanded clean. ...but I'm still open to more suggestions..

post some pics of your suggestions for others to see!
