I have 2 th350s in my garage. One is a short shaft and one is a long tail shaft. I have no idea where they came from, what car they are out of, what year they are, who brought them in, or even what i am going to do with them.... I am aquiring a th400 and need to get rid of one of the th350s for space considerations. I guess Im hanging on to them if I ever change my camaro over to an auto.

As far as internals, are they the same.? Either stronger than the other.? I believe the short would fit better as far as driveshaft length? correct?

Anything else you could tall me about the short/long differences would be helpful.

The short tailshaft trans, 6inches, will fit better, no cutting of the driveshaft.
The two trans are the same except for length of tailshaft.

Lose the long tail shaft one! Its better to hang on to the one with the short tail shaft..

Yes, keep the one with the short tail shaft!
