I noticed my car was hard to push while doing some tranny work.
I jacked it up and one wheel spins very hard and the other spins quite easily.
Spinning one will not spin the other one simultaneously.
Anyone have a quick diagnosis?
Thanks!

With the rear axle on jack stands and trans in Park or 4th gear, a beam torque wrench on a lug nut should reach 35 ft./lbs. before breaking loose the clutches inside per wheel.
Any wheel breaking loose before then will require a new clutch pak and reshimming of differential gear backlash.

Probably time for a rebuild. I'd put in new clutches and set the preload. A clutch set is about $120 and labor to install them and set preload is about $60 if the differential is already removed.

Thanks for the confirmation guys.
Sort of a bummer, but I am glad it probably isn't more.
I will yank it apart tomorrow.
