I just saw an ebay ad for REAR qtr regulators specifically for a deluxe 67....I thought they were the same so I only swapped my fronts to the longer ones.....Both Ricks and NDP only list one part # and Ricks specifically says for both deluxe and standard. So im confused..the ebay ad had a pic with a measuring tape on the spline showing 1 1/8 in length, while mine are slightly less than an inch.
I dont see why they would be different since the rear panel is flat, not like the fronts.
Can anyone clarify? thxs

heres the link to the ad...

I think ive answered my own question...i mocked one up this morning with a panel and the crank goes on far enough for the clip to engage.....i can only conclude that the ad may be for regulators from a firebird, or that the 68/69's may be slightly longer? I cannot see any reason why they would need to be, if anything my crank is a bit sloppy.......the pic doesnt lie though, strange they would be longer....

67's (maybe 68's and 9s as well) used different rear window cranks with more of an arc to them to clear the chrome trim piece on the deluxe interiors, the regulators were the same.

Actually the 67 cranks are shorter and have less curvature but still clear the chrome no problem.....i agree with you on the regs, but am still curious as to why the pic in the listing shows a different length....they look identical in every other respect.
