I would not do much ground pounding with it!!!!!!!!! Not to be antagonistic, but 2 bolt main will be OK to hamer on. If you are really going to rev it, you might consider studding the main caps. I'll try to get some good ones this weekend.. I plan on making a nice daily driver out of my 69, and really got lucky to find this engine.. I have been looking for an engine for a long time... Now I can try to find a 12 bolt.. I was going to suggest that. Maybe you'll get lucky and the owner of the car will find you. If so, you will be able to buy another BB and possibly a 12 bolt rear, too.
