Anyone have experience with the interior noise of the Super 40 on a convert? I currently have the 50's but was wondering if 40's would give louder more aggressive sound without unbearable interior noise.
The super 40's are supppose to have less interior resonance than standard 40's.

I have 3" super 40s on my Cuda that are dumped at the rear axle. They definately sound better than regular 40 series or 50 series in my honest opinion. They are much deeper sounding, but its still going to be loud. Another member on here, Skeeter55, has them on his big block 69 Camaro. I'm not sure if he has a sound clip or not. Here is a sound clip of my Cuda which has both interior and exterior portions. Hopefully it can help you some.

That Cuda sounds sweet, thanks for posting thesoundclip. What is your compression? mine is stock 8 with an increase coming in winter to 9 max. If your compression was higher that would make it louder I believe.
Thanks

Yes, more compression will make it louder. It is around 11:1
