I just got a new set of bushing and spring for my msd Dist. Im goin to change the spring use 2 silver ones. Do i need to change the advance stop
bushing to............ It says use the red bushing.......thanks

You don't have to change the bushing if you are satisfied with the total amount of mechanical advance. The bushing determines that. The springs determine how fast the distributor is spinning before the advance comes in. The springs also determine the rate as well.
