This is disturbing. At a show yesterday there was this nicely done but questionable Camaro SS convert:

Guess they forgot about the console. The body tag is equally authentic.

Today there is another on ebay:

Ad states "See scan of original window sticker."

Caveat Emptor.

I like the creative spelling for Hugger orange, vinyl/houndstooth (which you couldn't get with a vert, last time I checked) and ventilation on the window sticker :)

On the 1st one I came up with 17 errors. A39 doesn't exist; Z82 should be Z87. Duct hood should be Ducted; Sport wheels should be Sports, listed for $79.00 not $21.10 and were long discontinued as a Camaro option by May 1969.

2nd one is just as bad. Lists a tach [n/a at the time] and a clock in addition to special instrumentation which included both. Also lists D96 fender striping, n/a on SS.

Lots of ECL errors on both, not going there.

Why not just admit they are clones? I did not speak to the owner of the orange car but someone who did stated the owner believes it to be the real deal and paid up for it.
