I need a 68 camaro kick down cable 350 trans so far no luck. I find a kick down rod. Was a someone's mod?

There is no carb bracket for TH350, just a ball stud. The factory bracket is mounted to the intake manifold. Used or ebay are you only choices. BTW, a 2bbl bracket is different than a 4bbl SS one (I'm talking about 69 versions here).

The TH-350 didn't come out until 1969. You should be able to get a cable and a bracket for a 1969 with TH-350 from numerous sources, for your '68.

Yes, the repro parts are available, but I was answering Aldo's post for "correct" parts. The current repro parts will work, but are not the same looking as the original factory one. I am assuming the "correct" term is for factory original parts.

I'm not worried about it :), but since Greg started this thread who has a 68 asked about the cable, which was answered, then Aldo steps in with a question about the bracket, but does not supply his car's year, I had to make assumptions that Aldo was talking about a 69. :)
