Would an 8.5 rear from a stock 74 nova have the 1310 yoke???

Yes - I believe they made the switch to the '3R' in @1976 (but Freddie will chime in and corrct me if I'm wrong :D )

It should, but the easiest way to check is to ask if the yoke has grooves for the end cap clips. If it does, it is a 1310 yoke. If the yoke is smooth, then it is a 3R. If you can get a pic and post it, we can tell you which one it is. Or, if you advance search with "yoke" and my username, I have posted pics of a 3R several times.

I pulled an 8.5 from a 75 Omega, and it had the 3R.
