I have a 69 Camaro and removed the 6 cyl and replaced it with a BB. I want to leave the Power Glide in the car if possible. Is there a different crossmember that will allow me to do this or can I modify the one I have. I have used the proper BB frame and motor mounts and the Glide and the BB are too far apart to bolt up.
This is my first attempt at anything like this so any and all help is appreciated!
Thanks!

You will need a Big Block transmission crossmember also. It will move the transmission to the drivers side 1/2" and forward 3/4". I am not sure if that transmission will last very long if it is in it's stock form.

Thank You so very much!!!!!
Is this a regular BB cross member or should I get an aftermarket one. Will I have to get a longer driveshaft also?
Thanks again for your help!

They are getting $200 for repro's now. Are you good with tools ? You could probably modify your small block one... or make an adapter. I don't think they used a different driveshaft. The yoke just may not slide in as far in your trans.

Thanks again for the response!
At the risk of being a pain do you mean a BB TH400 or BB 4 speed crossmember? I have been told by another to use the 4 speed one if I use a Turbo 350 or leave the original Glide in it.
I appreciate your patientce!

You will want the 4-speed crossmember. It has the same mounting as the powerglide/TH350 trannies. The TH-400 crossmember will not work with a powerglide.
