I do not have any manuals on this Camaro yet. I have ordered a couple of them, but they have not shown up. Do I need to take off the head light bezels to do this? Also, how do you adjust the head light? I can not locate the adjustment screw.
Also where does the Headlight Capsule Tension Spring go? I can not locate one on my car, but I see them listed in Rick's First Generation wiht the head light parts.
Thanks as always....

If it's a standard coupe, not an RS, then the headlight bezels need to be removed and my camaro had 3 screws to adjust the headlight, one at the top,bottom and on the outside side of the headlight. I recommened checking the plastic that the headlight adjustment screws go into, as mine were cheap crap. As for the headlight capsule tension spring, someone else is going to have to answer as I haven't made it that far yet.

Yes, you need to remove the bezel to replace a lamp.
* remove the bezel
* remove the three (3) retaining screws for the stainless ring holding the headlight bulb
* allow the ring to fall towards you in your hand while holding the bulb into the holder base assembly
* carefully lay the bulb out of the holder base taking notice of the alignment lugs on the rear of the light, these locate it correctly in the holder.
* unplug the wiring plug from the rear of the bulb
* hook plug up to new light bulb
* orient it so the alignment lugs line up in the mount base correctly
* while holding it in place re-install the retaining ring
* start screws into the ring holes
* make sure the bulb is still seated correctly in the holder base
* finish tightening the ring screws to hold the bulb firmly in place.
* reinstall bezel
The bulb aiming screws are visible though the gap around the bulb and the lamp hole in the bezel.
I can usually adjust the alignment without removing the bezels.
There are two (2) screws - top one does up/down the other one on the side does left/right.
The "spring" is on the other side of the lamp bucket from the side adjustment screw and slightly lower.
It holds the bucket in place at this position and also allows th ebucket to swivel during it's adjustment with the two screws.
Do a search on site for several different alignment proceedures - it's been posted lots of times.
