This is one of my next projects. Remove and replace tired old original THM 350 with one of Coan's Trannys. I had this baby shipped by DB Schenker, they used to be BAX. Great freight rate.

After this, then it's the tired old 10 bolt PA. Thinking about a complete Moser 12 bolt. Just dont know what gears to get though.

$1300.00. Plus shipping.
Why 373 ? My intention is to drive it on short trips around town's and on some nice country roads, occasionally on the Autobahn. And upon request..... get in the pedal once in a while.

Looks awesome. My torque convertor in my Turbo 400 is a custom built from Coan. You are correct about DB Schenker/Bax Global and their shipping rates, I ship freight through them where I work quite frequently during the week!!!!!!

Freddie, you gave me a quote...remember in the PM? Anyway, still need help on deciding what gears. I'm not smart enough to figure what i want. The stall on the converter is 2500 to 2700, I have the GM crate 350 with 290 HP, i want to do a little autobahn driving, basically to get me to a car show, then it's just cruising highways and through towns.

I forgot about giving you the quote. I do this so much tat I can't remember who I have already talked to and who I haven't.

How fast do you want to go? Around here the 3.42 is pretty popular, but we can't drive as fast as you can. I don't know about a 3.08 because of the torque converter. If you drive slow very much the torque converter might heat up because it would be slipping a lot.

3.42's would be a great all around gear. The 290 horse engine mated up to the drivetrain makes a good combo to do some cruising and still get decent mileage. You won't be running 200 KPH all the time but you can do it in short bursts. God I do have fond memories of the Autobahn!!
