I got a 68 Camaro with the original 327 motor the trans is different. I changed a few things for my likings but I have the original Protecto plate still on its card along with a **** load of original receipts from 68-69.. Does having the original protecto plate really bring up the value of the car????? Im just curious about how much the plate is worth.... THanks for the help...

The Protect-O-Plate is worthless, unless it is with the car it was intended for. The Protect-O-Plate has specific information about the car, such as Engine, Transmission, Rear, Dates, etc.

well thats what i was getting at. the protect-o-plate that i have is the original one that came with the car, yes its for the car. I just wonder how much it increases the value of the car..

depends on options.... if its a plain Jane 6 cylinder.... not really.... but if it was a Z28.... hell yes (even w/o drive train) since its the only way to really tell a 68.
