Hi, Has anyone had experience dealing with AMK products online shopping site?
I have placed an order but requests by e-mail for tracking number etc go unanswered.
The order does show as being shipped but unable to get further details.

Murray,
I have always called them on the phone. I prefer to talk to a real person. Have never had a problem that way.

Give them a call..
How are they shipping? USPS or courier?
Is a tracking number available for the method of shipping?

I prefer to download their .pdf catalog and fill out a copy of their order form. Fax it to them and follow it up with a call.
They have min (30$) order requirments and ship promptly, and I have had excellent cust service when and if there was any mix up on parts.
PS they now are shipping a hard copy of the 2010 catalog with orders! Yea!
I always say,,plate you orig parts then AMK.

I have had several problems with AMK shorting me on fasteners and having the wrong size fasteners on emblems.
They only supply 10 nuts for the taillights and on my 67 there are 12 studs on the taillights. On the emblems I broke two emblems before I realized the nuts were too small for the studs.
AMK don't make it easy to contact them. They don't have an e-mail address or a toll-free number. I got my AMK fasteners from Classic and when I called them about the problems I was having, they ask me to keep track of my shortages and size problems and they would replace them. That’s great but when I am finished with my restoration I am not going back to replace their screw ups.
That's Customer Service and the reason you save all your old fasteners.

Yep, the emblem nuts are often incorrect from AMK. If you're using new emblems, they usually come with their own correct-fitting nuts.
I've encountered the issues with taillight nuts as well.
AMK is pretty good, but certainly not perfect. And each Master kit I've bought has been less "complete" than the one before. Could be why I hoard as much original HW as possible. Hell, we'll even buy a junk car for next-to-nothing if for nothing but a load of hw
