I found a picture of the 69 SS we use to own but it only has the first four of the six characters visible. 124 B_ _

This is a long shot but does anyone have an idea how to get the two missing characters? I believe they were letters. The DMV Record Request form, which provides a printout of ownership history, requires the entire CA License Plate Number.

Best thing i could think of is hanging out with a buddy that may be a police officer and have him run the numbers/letters if the car is reg still in Cal you might have a chance.

Yeah, but he will have to run 26x26 different literal combinations!!!!
