It's a X11, (code 72) Hugger orange non SS, RS, V8 car. It is an original RS but missing the engine and trans. 10 bolt. White interior. Car needs every panel except the hood, roof and cowl. The guy wants $6500 I offered 3k he laughed. I feel he is a little high. Anyone interested?

I think that your offer might have been a little light, but not that much too light. He's dreaming at $6500 with no engine. Its probably worth about $4k, and that's only because its a 69 and an RS. I gave $3800 for my 67 RS. While she was a real rust bucket, it did come with a completely unmolested, matching numbers, running driveline. This was about a year ago, so the economy was better then than it is now.

I picked up a 69 LM1 RS 3 months ago in basically the same condition. Although it did have a 12 bolt non posi. I paid $1,500 and sold it a week later for $4,000. I thought I got top dollar. $6500 sounds very high.:noway:

I don't think your offer was bad at all. I paid 10k for my X66. Already had all the sheet metal work done. Has a rebuilt 12 bolt 3.73 correct to car. New springs, new body mounts, a complete 69 JB code 396. And a complete NIB RS kit(I know the car is not an RS) but it's new in the box so I can always sell it if I need to. And it also has a new center console with gauge package and a complete interior.

Here's a local one that is more reasonably priced. :-)

Thanks Dave, that car is about the same condition as the other. Might even be better.
