My friend has a 67 camaro.

Following is a breakdown of the car.
Butternut yellow black vinyl top
327 powerglide
Z87 option
Deluxe black interior
power windows
rear defrost
console w/gauge package
tach
original Z87 steering wheel
speed warning
tri sound horn.
non a/c, non PB
has power steering.

Now here is how the car sits today.
Painted Red (terrible paint job)
1/4's replaced
rest of car is solid.
Int. is very nice.
Has a 1966 396 in it w/ a powerglide and 12 bolt posi.
Owner has a NOM 1967 camaro 327 engine to go with it.

So I am thinking about purchasing the car because I would like to restore this car.

$8k - $13k

He want's 12K which I think is a bit high considering it will need the paint completely stripped and repainted. Plus there are some other mechanical issues. I was thinking about offering 8K.
