I was going through a bunch of stuff my dad sent down to me years ago and came across the following:

I've thought about switching out the T-Handle for the ball. These shifters came in white as well, though the emblem looked a bit too "festive."

This came up because my dad, a retired drag racer, said he was going to come down to see the Camaro and "see what she can do." I told him that he was not getting within 10' of the car :) I let him drive my '77 Z28 and '84 Z28 (both manuals) and became immediately aware of the fact that, compared to him, I did not know how to drive or shift.

The black shifter knob definetly looks the best.

Man that black/gold 50th is nice, it reminds me of when my grandparents had there 50th anniversary.

you are lucky that you still have him around with you...to share the joy of finding the camaro...and to learn better from...lol after all it took me awhile to learn those wot shifts as well...lol

by the way...very nice collectible shifter knobs...like the black one best...
