: Front Door Window Guides?

I am in the process of changing the 67 style glass w/vent window over to 68 style one-piece glass. I'm wondering if the window guides, which are not reproduced on the aftermarket, are all the same (67-69). These guides, which support the window from the bottom, are also connected to the regulators. After winning a set on ebay, the seller sent me a L & R set which was marked '67', even though I specified that they be from a 68 or 69. So, are they all the same?
Thanks.

The 67 door shell AND guts are totally different. The 68 guts and window wont fit inside the 67 shell. You need to get a 68 door shell and all the correct parts to do it. I have some 69 spare guts. But I have to ask, the wing windows are what sets apart the 67s, why do you want to remove a signature peice?

Kevin,

I've never cared for the vents or the position of the side mirrors, which are mounted further toward the driver because of the vents. Makes it harder to see what's happening around me.
Other than being a first-year RS, the car has no options, and virtually none of it is original/matching. It can always be converted back.
My resto guy has completed this operation before, but I want to be sure that the 68 and 69 guides are the same, and whether the 67 guides are different.
Just to be sure, is this so?
