What is a 1970 CE block casting # "010" going for now days ?
standard bore 4 bolt mains casting date L 11 0
Would this be a good choice for a 1969 Camaro ?
thanks in advance

I doubt it's worth any more than any other block unless you find someone who is wanting to pass their car off as "numbers matching" (don't flame me guys, I'm using this term loosely) and saying their car was originally a Z/28 or SS. It'll be a good foundation for an engine in a '69 as long as it checks out OK.

150.00-200.00 it would be a good builder for your 69!

Does it have a crank still in/with it? That might help show what type of replacement motor it was.

It has a steel 1182 crank and part # 3942545 pistons in it .
Looks like some of the rods are pink........

The date is too late for a 69 build. It would be for a 70. With the steel crank and the pink rods with 4 bolt mains sounds like a 70 LT1. Value around 750.00 to 900.00 these days.

The 1969 Camaros were under a 5 year warranty werent they ?

Wouldnt this be a correct replacement block for a 69 Camaro ?
I would be using it in a 69 Z28 .

Besides the numbers matching issues, these are hi nickel content blocks, a lot better than most.
I have one of these as a CE warranty replacements in my car now. F-290
