Looking for a value of a carb of unknown condition. It is a 1969 Q-jet PT# 7029215 EH. It looks to have been rebuilt by Holley sometime in its life due to a round sticker on it, but now.... well it looks like a restore is needed. I have not seen any for sale so......
Thanks for any info

According to a book I have, it is correct for a 1969 Chevelle, Camaro, and Chevy II with a 396/350 horsepower and manual transmission. Also listed is a 1969 Corvette with a 427/390 horsepower and manual transmission. As far as value, I do not know. They made plenty of cars with those powerplants so it may not be particularly rare. I recently sold a similar carb (also a big block Q-Jet) on ebay for around $75.

I would think around $150.

I wasn't sure how rare it is. The only one I saw on ebay was heartbeat citys "restored" one for 1500. You know how that goes, just because they ask that doesn't bean they will sell it for that.

I just bought one date correct for my 1969 camaro 396-350 convert 4 speed, From Custom Rebuilt Carburetors in N.J. 732-356-4333 Ask for Philip Cancilla. It took 1 1/2 years to find this carb dated.

there is no date on it that I could find. Is it near the part number? How much did you pay for the one you bought?

Believe the carb you have was never factory installed as original equipment.

Date is right above the part number on the side of the carb, 4 digit code first number it the year next are the day of the calendar year, 9111 would be April 21 1969. Sometimes theres a number stamped on the drivers side of the baseplate as well.
The 7029215 carbs were used on 69 L35 cars. The official documentation calls for a 7029200 as the L35 auto carb and 7029201 as L35 manual carb. Neither has been observed on original L35 cars; all have had the L34 carbs.
