Saw this on ebay during my routine Camaro browse. Seems like a car with some history, if anyone had the time to research it. Maybe a 67 Z... Just wanted to share it with anyone and everyone. Cheers!

You have no idea what you're talking about; the brake booster could have been pulled long ago.

It's in Cali, and if it's always been in Cali, who knows-- Lots of Zs went there to race.

This could be a great find, or just another hunk of crap waiting for a sucker. My money is on the latter, but you never know. However, your statement that it's not a Z is not credible.

Using that logic, I guess every car with a V8 VIN and no trim tag, or paperwork, or drivetrain, could be listed as a "possible Z28".

Too much of a stretch for me.

Wow. Just thought it was an interesting car. Not specualting on anything, just thought I'd share. There are some real Camaro Nazis on this site. Next time I will think twice about posting a link.

Hey Big Willy,

This is not the usual demeanor of this site and it doesn't represent what the site is all about. Our boy Beauregard comes on here every couple of months to stir the pot. We all assume he owns some bondo'ed up Mustang or something. :D

Interesting but at, 9k I would have a hard time gambling on it. The 67-Z guys, and there's a few that here that have found cars with less clues than this one would probably have picked this one up already if it was legit, even without the trim tag. All that aside, this would make a great repro-racer. At the 9k price you'd probably be upside down but at 4 or 5k it would be ok. If it was an ex-TA car and someone authenticates it we all will kick ourselves for a long time to come. I don't know alot about T/A cars but I do know they had a brass tag attached to the rollbar. He mentions something about the rollbar but it's vague, like he leaves it to your imagination. If it has been for sale along time I'd be very cautious. Like to pop a sb 302 in it and roll it around the track.

Not representing it as a Z just leaving it out there would be a great car to restore though.

I'd pay 3500 for it.Not worth 9000. with no proof of being a Z.I don't believe they made very many 302 cars in 67.
