:confused: I am looking at a 1968 Camaro that is supposed to be a SS396 4-Speed car. BUT---------It was stolen in 1973 and the engine trans and front sheetmetal was taken. It sat for 30 years and was then restored with a 350, 700r4. It has the big block heater box. Is there any way to tell if it is a real SS. The owner bought it from the original owner and his word is all I have. Are there larger fuel lines? Larger sway bars? Any info would be appreciated. I have an engine and trans just dying to be put in something.
