I have a pair of 2wd TH400's that i'm thinking about selling. Both are complete but could use a rebuild. One is a 1969, the other is a 1974. I checked on craigslist but theres nothing to compare prices in my area for TH400's.:o

The Turbo 400 cores (assuming solid, crack-free cases), go for about $200-$250 around here.

I could only get $75 on CL for one complete with TC, flex plate, modulator tube, dipstick, and kickdown switch supposedly out of a 67 Impala.

Wow, that sounds really light for a 400. The PGs and 350s only run about $50-$100 here, but the 400s bring more. Could be because Commerce Dragway is close by. Racers love those Turbo 400s for their quarter milers.

Where im at about 450 or so for a rebuilt one.

The one for the 69 if it still has the tag or you can prove its a 69 might be worth as a core to somebody anywhere from 75.-200. To someone really needing it...the 74 th400 is just a core value at 75.00 ...
