Were there two different size rag joints on a manual steer 67RS? I haven't taken the column out yet, but was wondering if anybody knows if it was a 3/4-30 spline or 3/4-36? I need it for manual steer.

Some of the aftermarket vendors reference both, but then only see one on others.. Trying to order the right one (still driving the car so didn't want to take it out yet as it is a 3 week lead time to order).

Thanks

The manual flexible steering shaft coupling assembly has a flange with 3/4 diameter with serrations (or splines) based on a full circle of 30 serrations. This will result in rather course individual splines. (Later power gears were 3/4 diameter with 36 splines and are really quite fine.)

Also a manual steering steering flexible coupling assembly should have a rubber disc with 7 layers of cloth and rubber. (You should be able to look at the edge of the disc and actually count the layers.)
