Guys,
Need help finding the rubber bumper for a square 67 factory traction bar. There used to be several of the Camaro parts houses that carried it....Ricks, Heartbeat, D&R. It seems that it has been discontinued (based on info from BelairBob and HBC). Does anyone have any idea where I can find one?
This is the last piece I need to find to get the rearend setup complete.
Thanks for any help. :beers:

Scott - I am not sure what you need. I was able to get poly bushings for my round traction bar from Energy Suspension, but I don't think that is what you are talking about.

No he is talking of the bumper that was specific to the square traction bar that was only on one side of the 67'

Thanks 540,
Yes....I think I'm looking for the "Holy Grail" for a 67. I've got all the pieces except the bumper that attaches to the lower mount.
I guess I will have to do without?

So the square bars had bumpers and the round bars didn't? Why was there a difference?

No they both did have bumpers but they were different. If I can find a pic of an old one I will post it.

You might try here:
http://www.camarosandclassics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=Camaro67TractionBar
You can also see the difference between the round bar bracket on the axle has no provision for a bumper as the square tube bracket does.
The only part missing from the list is the reinforcement plate under the rear seat for the body bracket.

Everett,
I placed an order with them about two weeks ago......they refunded my money because they don't have it and can't get it.
Thanks for trying to help! :thumbsup:

OK...fast forward a few months. Does anyone have a picture of the bracket under the floor pan? What I'm trying to figure out is the routing for the fuel line. I'm installing a new fuel line and I'm just not sure of the correct routing as the AIM doesn't show the routing. A picture sure would help!
Thanks :beers::beers:
