I have installed Prothane bushings in my stock A Arms. When I took it to be aligned the shop told me to watch the bolt/washers holding then as they will work loose. Sure enough about a month later the right front one had backed off. The instuctions from prothane says to tourge to factory specs, 45 ft lbs. After talking to the front end specalist he said to try 65-70 ft lbs. So far the seem to be saying tight. Has anyone else had this problem?

Pop them off an put a good amount of the poly bushing grease on the end of the bushing or on the big washer and reassemble with blue Loctite. If everything is real tight, the up and down movement of the upper A arm causes the bushing to rotate against the washer in a constant tighten/untighten motion. Make sure you have good condition Grade 8 bolts or better if you're going to try torquing them as high as what your suspension guy said.
