Hi Everyone. I am looking for any info on ac compressors. I am thinking about going the serpintine belt route and would like to know if anyone has any feed back on the small compressors as to do they cool ok? I am redoing a 68 coupe and going with the classic air. They use a sanden 508 ( full sized compressor) and the march serp. belt setup is using a sanden 7176. March says the compressor is smaller but works fine and classic air say it MAY not cool well in hot climates at idle speeds I am in florida. I am asking if anyone here has any of these systems in their cars. Thanks for any help.
