I did a search and found a few references to using the late model LT1 intake ( http://www.lt1intake.com/swapping.htm ) on an early small block. Most were older postings and discussed plans. So, has anyone actually installed one of the modified intakes? I like EFI and this would be different.

I have the modified intake and all wiring and ECU ready to install. I have been too lazy to install it on my 69, but I did test fit it and everything is good to go. The only things that I haven't figured out is how to make the remote thermostat housing look nice under the hood. I was thinking of fabricating some kind of hard lines onto the remote thermostat housing and mounting it in the normal position. The other thing that I was trying to figure out is how to duct the intake so that the air would come in though the cowl hood.

One of these days I will install it.
