I see that 68 and 69 shrouds have different part #. What i want to know are the 69 ones narrower(meaning from rad. to motor)because they used the long pump?
I have a long pump on my 68, and a 68 shroud. Will this work or will the fan be too far in the shroud to work properly?
They say the blade should just inside lip for the best flow. Has anyone run into this before?

Guess I will answer ya, I have a 4 row factory style radiator core on a sbc. This is basically a bbc radiator (23" wide) without the curved neck. I am using the offset factory style shroud.
From front of radiator to center of 7 blade fan on a clutch, 8.750"
The shroud is 7.250 deep.
I am running the long water pump.

The fan should be half in and half out of the shroud. The radius of the fan blade, should be split right at the shroud.

The shroud also fits neat either side of the raditor cores
Note I believe that the ac /no ac shrouds could be different to.

Here is a pic of mine you can see how much it sticks out from the shroud.. its not the best pic but I could measure and take some better pics to give ya a better idea in the morning..

Any body have a 69 shroud they don't want?:D

I have a 68 camaro with a smallblock that has a long water pump on it. I have a 69 shroud on it.
