Guys,

I need to purchase a disc brake setup for the 69. Long story short I purchased a subframe which had the wrong spindles and brakes on it. I saw some cheaper setup's on e-bay and was wondering if they were ok. Would the stock spindle that these kits base off of be ok? I just don't have the cash to spend $1000 for front brakes. I have the 15" rallies on the front now with 235/60.

Thanks for the help,
Doug

Matt can probably hook you up with a similar price since you don't need a booster and they have a real warranty and tech line. Not saying that ebay store doesn't, but they don't come out and say it. Matt's full power kit is only $475 (knock off at least $80 if you don't need the booster) and comes with the flex lines (that ebay one doesn't) which you might need once you get the new calipers. I will say that is a pretty good price considering you get the upgraded rotors and free shipping.

Right Stuff Detailing is where Matt's kits come from and they're only a couple of hours away from you.

Here's good with some frills and thrills:

or lower pricing if you want basic, standard kit:

Thanks guys for the recco's now I just need to decide which one to get. I'll need the steering arms too which I see that none of these kits have with them. Matts Classic Bowtie's has them on e-bay. Will these be ok does anyone know? He got the measurement for me from the center of the spindle to the tire rod hole is 6 1/4". I just upgraded to the 3rd gen box too. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks!

If you want the stock ones off my '69 you can have them for the cost of shipping.

Cool are they PS or Manual? I heard that they are different lengths......that's part of my problem I don't know which ones would be best with the 3rd gen box.

I just measured my pitman arm. From center of the ps box shaft to center of the shaft at the drag link is about 5-7/8"

Steering arms for 1st gen Camaros are the same for manual or PS.
