I'm in the process of building a 72 for the strip and was looking for advice on which companies 10-point cages seem to fit best? I don't want it to look like junk or have poor fit. I know the big thing is how it functions. Any advice would be appreciated.

I used Comp Engineering's 10-pt kit in my '79 Pro Street project. Fit fairly well, wish the down bars in front formed a little closer to the A-pillar, but for the money I'm happy, as it's a limited street, mostly strip vehicle anyways. I didn't use the floor plates they supplied, rather attached each point directly to the frame, and the main hoop tied right into my rocker panel support. Should have pictures in the next 1-2 weeks. I've been slacking.

if concerned with overall look/fit, i would highly reccomend having a good chassis builder do a custom cage for you. i've seen good kits, and good custom cages, and the kits simply don't compare. it will cost a little more, but well worth it imo. just my .02

There's a lot to be said for custom cages. ALL of the pre-cut aftermarket kits will have to be tweaked to be installed correctly anyway. Just my opinion.

My vote is for S&W Racecars. I'm putting one in my 69 Camaro and can't complain about anything.
Good price and good quality.
