Its seems most people want to upgrade to multis but not much info for guys who would like to keep monos. I have a 69 Camaro with a 8.2 10 bolt and monos. I am upgrading to a 12 bolt with multi perches. I understand I will need a 1 inch spacer to fill in the space. My concern is that the monos do not have a locator pin on the top, just the bottom. I will use half inch u bolts. I am happy with the ride height so the spacer will go between the spring and the shock mount. Should I be concerned about the rear end walking with just pins on the bottom and not the top? Also, what about the extra width of the multi perches? I am also running traction bars.
