Guys,
I spent the weekend finally getting the suframe and suspension ready for when the 67 returns from the body shop, (a couple more weeks is what they said).
The only thing left to do is get the caliper steel lines, tie rods, and steering box installed. Just for future reference I sent the 4 piston calipers to Vette Brakes in FL. It cost $120 each for total rebuild including S/S sleeves. When I called them (3 days after shipping) to check to see if they had received them, I found out that they were ready to ship back.....excellent turn around time.
I hope to have the 396 back together and in the frame by next weekend.
The second picture should be archieved somewhere....it is the correct GM big block engine frame mounts. This question comes up a lot when people are doing the conversion...pictures are worth a thousand word.
