I have an original 68 SS hood that we stripped to bare metal and put in sealer. It has a bunch of small dings (ten or so) in an area about the size of a fist (looks like someone took a ice pick to it) that would not be hard to fix or fill. They were filled and undetectable until we stripped the hood. Overall the panel is very flat and the underside is very nice as well with some minor surface rust on the ribbing. What do you think it is worth?

Primed so one cannot see what's underneath? $150-250. More if one can see the bare metal. DA it bare and leave it in a dry place so buyers can see it; then youll get more coin and please the person buying it. I've learned my lesson about sheetmetal. If it's in primer some may not buy it. And even worse when it's got multiple coats of paint on it. Buying from someone you know locally is a different story. Not saying yours is bad but I drove 2 hours for a rust free hood... I went home dry.
