Hello all. I'm in the process of putting my doors back togethor and I have 2 guides for the glass. They look like they are covered in some kind of black material. what can I use to replace the material. these piese are about 2X3 metal with 2 holes on top for mounting.

Use the fuzzy side of velcro. Looks great, and works like a charm.

Yes indeed. The velcro "fuzz" is a pretty durable stuff. Think about it this way- its designed so that the "hook" side of velco digs into it repeatedly over years of use, and it still holds up. We used it on the prostreet with power windows,and it also actually quieted down the operation of the windows a bit.
Look for the stuff that's about 2 inches wide, and has the peel and stick backing. You can find it at most craft stores.

Thanks again Bob. I have a few pieces of 3" laying around so I was able to do 1 in one piece. Nobody seams to have the 3" so I'll get the 2" and double up.
