What exterior colors/color combinations came with black houndstooth interior in 1969? In particular, does anyone know if color code #71, Lemans Blue, was used with a black houndstooth interior out of the factory? I know there are Z-28's and RS' in Lemans Blue and white that came with white houndstooth but...????

Thank you! Great site. Would you happen to know if Lemans Blue and white, either in the Z28 or RS, came out with black houndstooth? I would assume there were COPO's and/or Yenko's in Lemans Blue and black houndstooth. Correct?

1969 Camaro dealer ordering info has a chart listing exterior/interior color/trim availability. A black interior in any of the trim levels was available with any exterior color. Z/28, RS or COPOs 9560 & 9561 had no bearing on either.

As for what is known, all Yenkos had black standard interiors. Very few COPOs had the custom interior with houndstooth. ZL-1 #54 is Le Mans blue with white houndstooth.

Jorge, You'll want to check out the CAMARO RESEARCH GROUP for all kinds of info on the interior/exterior of the first gen. Camaros. It also has tons of info on motors, trannys and such.

Maybe a memeber can post a link to the site Welcome to T.C.
