I am replacing hte inner finders....I noticed that the inner fenders comes with a black coating on it. Does the this black to striped off before painting?

I scuffed mine up and layed the epoxy over it.

No sir. If its real EDP, (does not come off with chemicals), its good stuff for corrosion resistance. Its tested for corrosion over a period of 500 hours with salt spray. Just scuff really well, wipe down, tack rag and shoot epoxy over it to get started.

X2... Bob is right. if it doesn't come off with lacquer thinner, then leave it and scuff for bite.
