I just lost my second 396/375 HP air cleaner rocker decal! I have a chrome air cleaner cover and I cleaned it the first time with alcohol and the second time with acetone. My problem is the decal stills blows off. I don't know if it is a combination of the heat and fan, but how in the heck does one keep the decal adhered to the cover?

Have any of you had similar issues with the decals?

Is it a vinyl decal or a mylar decal?

I believe it is mylar--I purchased both from Heartbeat City. Any recommendation on who makes the decal with decent adhesive?

Isn't Heartbeat City the guys selling the repo trim-tags? Maybe now you have 2 reasons not to use them.

Nudge-- any suggestions other than HB City may have defective decals? Are the decals made by the same manufacturers?

I got mine from classic industries, I can't stand them but it has held up of since 2005, the edges are kind of coming up now.

Order one from year one or classic, I can't say for sure if they are made by different manufactures.
