my rod bearings went out and i replace them everything was working fine when i was done but i took the oil cap off and it looks like there no oil going up into the heads what do you think could be the problem :(

welcome to team camaro!! do you have any oil pressure?? oil pump bad or clogged?? are your clearances or tolerances off?? who did the bottom end?? machine shop or you??

Oil pump looked good and clean and i did it myself, when i would start it in the mornings i would see that the oil pressure would jump up when i started it then go low as i would drive it it would rise up just about a quartor of the way

what kind of motor?? be specific,what pressure cold at start up, hot at running temp?? give us some specs on the motor? was the crank turned or is 10-10 or ....?? more details please...

Its a 3.4l and im going to have to find out the rest of the info so ill be in touch later today but just wanted to say thank you for trying to help me out

I had something similar with a '69 I had. It turned out that the pick-up screen had come off.
