What is the correct procedure to remove rocker panel spears from a 69 camaro? What type of clips are used?

There is a screw on each end on the under side of the tirm. Then it's just a matter of gently prying from the bottom and they will pop off the bracket that is attached with screws to the car. Carefull though, I bent mine all to hell because someone other than me put the brackets on upside down. I didn't know to pry from the top and was getting rather frustrated as to why they would not come off!
