I see your in NJ. I don't know of a single end to end shop but know of good metal guy (1/4's) , engine builder and painter. Used all three on 2 restores.

jerry, it was a cocky thing to say that should have been phrased better. i have been saving for 30 years to restore a l78 ssrs conv. and am in a position at 47 to finally release the hounds so to speak. just want the finest job for the money. when somebody has a talent to make something perfect for somebody i don't mind paying.

I dont think it was cocky, hell I wish I could say it! Especially in todays economic situation I think it is awesome that someone is blessed with rewards (funds) that have been saved through sheer determination.......good on ya!

You really need to call Dave and Chris. They will do your car right and for a fair price.

If I could afford to have the guys at Campbell Auto Restoration (http://campbellautorestoration.com/index.htm) do my car I would. They are featured all the time in Camaro Performers, Super Chevy, and Car Craft. I've seen two cars done by them (one pro touring and one OE resto) first hand and both were nothing short of amazing.

Two things to never tell a mechanic or body man.
1. Money is no object.
2. I'm in no hurry.

Man - my wife would be yellin' at me "Who Let the Dogs Out" if I did that with mine

Congratulations - you've saved a long time to realize a dream.
I will 3rd - or whatever number it's up to by now - giving Ram Air Dave a call and getting his input on your project.
He turns out very nice cars
