: DPLF question

Following the advice of my local PPG supplier, I stripped the car to bare metal and primed with DPLF. Then I completed any smoothing repairs with plastic, sprayed with K36 and block sanded twice to make sure everything was flat. For a sealer, the supplier recommended another coat of DPLF prior to spraying the base. tThe question that I have (which I'm pretty sure is not answered in any of the tech sheets) is can I sand the sealer coat 600 wet to make sure it's perfectly smooth prior to the base or does the base (DBC) have to be applied to untouched sealer?

Thanks for any help you can provide!!

IMHO

You can also seal with the 36 but it gets reduced more.....as per tech sheet......You should be able to lay it down flat...with no need to sand. Do not forget to tach the car between sealer and base......It helps show you nibs or trash in the sealer......PICS.....
