I have a 2000 Camaro. The needle on the fule gauage jumps all over the gauge. It reads full, empty, half full, etc. It doesn't matter how much fuel is in the tank. Is that a gauge problem or a float problem (if it has a float) or a sensor of some sort?

there is a fuel level sensor in there that sounds like the problem....
