Jeff H Aug 6th, 09, 02:44 PM Welcome, and if you don't have plans this weekend there is an F-body show/race going on at Island Dragway on Sunday 8/9. I know your car isn't going to make it but try and stop by if you can.
It's this weekend with racing and a car show on Sunday and Mustang vs Camaro/Firebird races Friday night. I sold my 1970 SS396 L78 car a couple of months ago so I'll be bringing my 2000 SS this year. Hope to see some of you guys/gals there.

I will start a project thread next week once we get the old quarters out. As you can see previous owner had started resto but not in a good way, rear quarters have more bondo on them than Napa will ever be able to have in one of their warehouses l:) so new quarters, door skins and tail panel is going to be the starting point. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

Lehigh is around the corner from my house, do you ever come to Galloping Hill on Mondays? I am ussually there for a couple of hrs every week but 1st gen camaros are hard to see there. I Hope to be there with my car next year.
We should start a NJ chapter thread (lol)
Thank you all for the replies.

I used to do Galloping Hill back in the 90s, got out of the cruising scene for a while and dedicated my time to racing. Let me know if you need any parts, I keep buying stuff and changing my mind before I put it on the car:D I've gone from a mild resto-mod plan to a street/strip brawler plan already. The body is halfway there on mine, shooting to have the body done in the next 2 months then spend another couple months on the mechanicals.
